Budleigh Salterton took RMVC President Keith Lawrenson back to his choir stamping ground.
It was 2005 when RMVC last made the trip to the lovely Devon town of Budleigh Salterton to sing with Budleigh’s own Male Voice Choir, and just like 17 years ago Keith was excited……

Special guests, the Treorchy Male Choir took the road from Wales to join with RMVC to sing in Romsey Abbey in what certainly proved to be one of our most glorious concerts ever……..
At the Beggars Fair in the Methodist Church in Romsey our lovely audience was ‘…so good, so good, so good’
At 12.45pm it was RMVC’s slot in the Beggars Fair programme with us all set to perform some of our favourite songs for just some of the hundreds of people enjoying the wonderful weather and fantastic music staged in venues all over Romsey.
It was third time lucky!
When Manchester choir Notability accepted our invitation to join RMVC in concert none of us imagined that it would take three, and nearly four, attempts to make it happen…….

We are recruiting. On two consecutive warm and sunny May Saturdays the RMVC troops took to the streets of the new estates bordering Romsey town with leaflets in hand, jolly smiles and mission to bring more men on board to the benefits of being part of RMVC…….

The swearing in of a new Mayor is an auspicious occasion so RMVC Chairman Kevin Cleary and our First Tenor Representative Brian Bolton were delighted to be in attendance for the event…….
It was three great days of singing, singing and yet more singing – just what RMVC does best!
Once more this year we joined with 50 other choirs in the Cornwall International Male Choral festival in a celebration of musical competition and concerts……
IT WAS UPLIFTING, FUN AND WE DEFINITELY HAD ONE OF OUR BEST AUDIENCES YET!
When Springhill Catholic Primary School invited RMVC to sing as part of the School’s celebrations of St David’s Day we weren’t quite sure what to expect, but we absolutely loved what we got…….
