Santa came early to Romsey Young Carers News

Our surprise visit to Romsey Young Carers Christmas party was met with an enthusiastic welcome from an excited group of young carers and their parents when Alan Willsher and Ray Pickering presented the charity with a grand total of £7280 to help it in its work supporting families. The money, raised by RMVC through the Choir’s recent Generations Concert was boosted with sponsorship from Principal Sponsor, The Royston Group, match-funding of the raffle and refreshments by Santander and the generosity of a full audience.

Keren Ben-Dor, RYC’s Schools & Clubs Co-ordinator, was delighted. “RMVC have given us amazing support more than once, but we never imagined the Generations Concert would raise such a brilliant amount. All of us at RYC would like to thank the Choir, and in particular concert organisers Alan Willsher and Ray Pickering. It really is the best Christmas present for our young carers.”
