Andrew gets out RMVC’s cheque book to boost Abbey Funds News

The money, raised at RMVC’s summer concert in the Abbey, brings to a total exceeding £13,000 donated by the Choir to charities in the current financial year. Choir Chairman Geoff Skinner said “Giving to charity is a key RMVC aim so we are extremely pleased to do what we can to help maintain such an important heritage asset in the town that is also a very special venue for our concerts.” Tim Sledge confirmed that the money will be put to good use adding “It will not only support us in enhancing the visitor experience, but also help with urgent repairs needed to the Abbey roof. I am hugely grateful for this wonderful, generous donation, which makes such a difference, especially from our friends in Romsey Male Voice Choir”
