Charitable work Helping charities make a difference

Charitable work

Each year RMVC aims to raise more and more for both local and national charities decided by its membership.

Over its lifetime Romsey Male Voice Choir has always been a part of raising much needed funds for charity. In 2010 RMVC became a registered charity itself (Charity number 1134638) and the Choir has not looked back in doing even more for good causes with the generous help of supporters, sponsors and audiences.

We know from what charities tell us, money raised really does make a difference. So thank you to all who have made a contribution.

Charity concerts

When RMVC stages its own charity concert, the Choir takes a small percentage of profits to cover its costs. All other monies raised from ticket, programme and refreshment sales are donated. The Charity’s logo appears on marketing materials and a short article on the cause is included in the concert programme. In addition we encourage charities to publicise what they do on the night and hold bucket collections.

Where RMVC is asked to participate in a concert organised by a charity we do have to charge a performance fee, which we endeavour to keep to a minimum. However any help needed with the development of marketing materials will be donated, and printing organised on behalf of a charity is charged at cost.

Why not get in touch if your charity would like to discuss booking RMVC for an event. We would be happy to see if we can help. Please complete the booking enquiry form.
